Travel with me!

If you are interested in following us as we go through the season on the sea ice this winter, you can write to me.

Even though our field camp is in one of the remotest places of the world, we have connection to the Internet via a satellite link. Through this connection, I am able to send and receive email and I can upload pictures and contents for this website.

Aside from maintaining this webpage, I am willing to communicate directly with a few school classes or private individuals who have an interest in what we are doing in Antarctica. If you are a science teacher, a student or simply someone with an interest in science, Antarctica, photography or adventure, write to me and get on my email list for this coming season.

If you are a teacher, perhaps you can use this opportunity to have a direct connection to a team in the field. You, and your students, can ask questions about what we are doing and I can get you answers and comments from the field camp. This could be an interesting and different addition to your material and might offer a unique opportunity for your students and yourself to collect data from a part of the world few people get to go to.

Send me an email and make sure to describe your interest in the project and tell me a little about what you would like to get out of this opportunity.

There is a limit to how many individual classes or people I can stay in contact with, so the sooner you contact me the better the chance.
