Antarctic Impressions photo exhibit

Through the work and encouragement of my wife Dorte, and the generous opportunity offered to me by Gwinnett County Parks & Recreation  I am able to show a number of my images captured in Antarctica during the 3 summer seasons I have spent there. The shown images are just a small selection of my large collection of wildlife and nature images from this incredible part of the world, but they show some of the precious moments I have been allowed to capture of the lives of the Weddell seals and the 2 Penguin species, Emperor and Adelie, which are the main wildlife in this frozen outpost.

Most of the images tell a story of their own, easily readable by the viewer, but all the images have more to them than what meets the eye. The intend of these pages is to share those deeper stories, as well as some background information about the animals and locations, which will make the experience more than just a look at some images of a remote part of the world.
